Linda Baumeister/Review
Pizza man
Randy Hueffmeier, owner of Randy's Premier Pizza in Oakdale, went about to break the record for the world's largest commercially available pizza with one made for the Hazelwood Free Church junior youth group in Maplewood on May 14. The record was a 45" x 50" pizza at 1,815 square inches, now currently 36" x 54" which is 1,944 square inches, and Randy is entering documentation of his 48" x 52" at 2,001.56 square inches. The pizza was made with 165 oz. of dough, 55 oz. of sauce, 185 oz. of cheese, 80 oz. of sausage and 24 oz. of pepperoni. Randy is just back from judging and competitions in Italy.
